Remote Desktop Solutions

Any customers that are unable to bring their PC to us for repair that still have internet access may qualify for remote desktop support. Gadget’s computers has access to remote support software that is quick and easy to use and will act as though a computer technician is sitting right at your PC. In a remote session, we can run diagnostics and perform repairs as well as access network resources and printers. To find out if you qualify for a remote session, please email or call and explain your computer issue to a trained professional and we will determine the best cause of action for your situation. Please be advised that the following situations disqualify you from receiving remote support sessions.

Please note that businesses that have not setup terms with Gadget’s Computers and residential based customers may be required to provide a credit card to be pre-billed before remote support begins. Please call or email for more details.

Gadget’s Computers uses a particular piece of software called GotoAssisst Express for all of our remote support needs. It is a non-invasive software that is easy for any user to install and is even removable after a support session is terminated.

*Gadget’s computers advises its customers that remote support for virus and spyware removal is not a viable option due to amount of time and effort that is required to successfully clean spyware and tune-up a PC. Because remote support is billed on a per-hour service, the costs to remove viruses and perform a full system tune-up would far outweigh the cost of the PC itself. In these situations, Gadget’s computers recommend that the pc be brought in to be serviced on our tech bench where rates are significantly lower.
